Wellbeing Guide for Artists

I have been working with Melbourne Fringe Festival over the last two years providing Mental Health and Wellbeing workshops for both staff and artists. Showing their continued focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing, this year Fringe approached me to write a Wellbeing Guide designed specifically to support the Wellbeing of artists and arts workers in their Fringe journey.

Iā€™m now so happy to say that Wellbeing Guide was launch at a Mental Health for Artists webinar I presented for Melbourne Fringe Festival on September 8 and is now available for download. Although the guide was designed specifically to help Fringe artists maintain good mental health, communication and self-care during their Fringe journey, it includes information, practical strategies and support that is useful to anyone working in the arts. Through my work with the arts community, I am very aware of the impact of COVID-19 on the arts sector and the mental health of its workers, so this guide could not have been released at a more important time. I hope it provides help and understanding to the incredible artists who give us so much and are doing it so tough right now.
